What sets ABLE Academy apart from other therapeutic Day Schools?
ABLE Academy encourages students to Achieve Beyond Limits and Expectations. ABLE stands apart from other schools for children and young adults with developmental disabilities because our success is solely measured upon the success of the student. ABLE recognizes that the accomplishments of students also impact the family and community. ABLE strives for each student to reach their potential and have a positive high-level quality of life in social, family, and community structures. With Applied Behavior Analysis providing the foundation for the principle’s that guide us, ABLE is committed to individualized education for each student’s success. Community partnership is a priority for ABLE. All students will have opportunities to participate in community outings/events to work on individual life-skill/community goals.

What curriculum will be used?
All individual student curriculum and decisions will be data based with the specific student’s goals in mind. State of the art curricula and technology will be interwoven throughout the classroom for children to access throughout their day.

How Can I help?

Monetary donations are appreciated. In addition, sometimes individuals have items no longer needed which may be of use to a school. (i.e.- art supplies, office supplies, some furniture items)  Please go to our "Donate" page for more information on how to assist ABLE Academy.
